Fall Kick-Off

Sunday Classes for ages 3 to adult will begin Sunday, August 23, 2026.   Classes are at 9:45am in between services, as well as the nursery for ages 0-36mo.

BREAKFAST PIZZA – 8:00am-11:00am

We will be serving Casey’s breakfast pizza, and an assortment of breakfast items from 8am-11:00am.  The Cedar Hills coffee shop will also reopen.

SUNDAY CLASSES

ADULT Classes

  • Know Your Bible – a class for Women, led by Lindsey Steinkamp. Do you want to be more confident in reading and studying the Bible? In this 6-week class for women, we’ll learn practical methods for understanding Scripture, interpreting it faithfully, and applying it to daily life. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to strengthen their foundation.
  • Dude’s Class – Discover what it means to be the kind of man who loves and serves others rather than yourself. Videos and discussion about the true path to manhood and servant leadership. 
  • You Belong Membership Class – Interested in exploring our community of faith at Cedar Hills? Or, just curious about what we believe and why? At the end of the 6-week session, opportunity to choose to become a member.
  • The Book of Luke – Leader: Joanne Lodge – Explore the footsteps of Jesus as seen through the eyes of Luke and discover the joy of following Jesus.
  • His Name Is Wonderful – Leaders: Alan Crandall and Tim King want you to enjoy a deeper experience with Jesus as we ponder the beautiful names by which he is known in the Bible. Light of the World, Good Shepherd, Lord of Lords, Emmanuel, Suffering Servant, Prince of Peace, Savior, Son of God, Son of Man, Prophet, Priest, and King! There’s just something about that that name

YOUTH (6th-12th Grade) – Register

  • SUNDAY MORNINGS – Class at 9:45am
  • SUNDAY EVENINGS Journey youth group is for all middle and high school students. September 6, 6-8pm is the youth group Fall kick-off! 6pm-8pm. Free supper, games, worship, & small groups
  • Faith Quest is offered midway through the year  for 8th graders wanting to explore membership of Cedar Hills (our version of confirmation)

Children, Pre-K to 5th Grade – Register

  • Sunday Classes: Children ages Pre-K to 5th grade can register for classes to be held during the 9:45am classes hour. Cathy Poole is the staff member coordinating the children’s Sunday classes.
  • Cedar Kids Club House: Children ages K-5th grade are invited to our special Club House! Club House meets once a month, beginning September 20.  Kathryn Pisch coordinates Club House.
  • Children’s Church: At the 11am service is a special time of worship for children ages 3 to 3rd grade.  Children start in the big service with their families and then are dismissed after the opening songs. Frankline Tschombe coordinates Children’s Church.

Nursery, Ages 0 to 36 Months – Register

  • Children ages 0 to 36 months are welcome to use the nursery during the 9:45am classes and during the 11am service. (At 3 years old, children begin attending the pre-K Sunday classes).  Kathryn Pisch is our Nursery Ministry Coordinator
